Using Native WordPress Excerpt

    Is there a way to make the plugin get the WordPress native Excerpt content instead of the first few sentences of the post in the editor? I am using shortcode and the plugin is displaying the shortcode in the carousel. Otherwise, this is a wonderful plugin. Thanks.
