Using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure S3-compatible storage with UpdraftPlus

Hi there, I’m trying to set up an object storage bucket on OCI for use with Updraft Plus, and ran into the same issue as this poster:

Oracle Cloud (OCI) Bucket | ww.wp.xz.cn

From the responses on the thread it sounded like there was a way to force the required AWS4 algorithm that OCI is expecting for this to work as mentioned by @anthoniusalfred. Can anyone help please?

Could you please let us know what S3 endpoint you use for your Oracle Cloud Setting?

We need the information so that we can provide a code snippet that you can use as a mu-plugin file.

Ah thanks so much Anthon. I’m a little nervous to share it publicly – probably silly of me as there is security in place – but any chance you can mail me on wordpress at 2cana.co.za … and I’ll respond on there? I’ll post back here to confirm if it works for other’s benefit.
