Using PHP Feeds with FeedReader

    I’m using CG’s FeedReader and have it installed correctly. It displays XML feeds without any problems. However, if I just replace the feed url with a php feed, I get a parse error. If anyone is using FeedReader, could you try displaying the feed for http://www.dailypennsylvanian.com/rss/feed.php on your site? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

    there’s no such thing as a ‘php feed’. PHP just generates XML output… it all looks the same to CG-FeedRead.

    I tried running an xml validator on feed.php, and it dies on the version=”2.0″ line. I’m just guessing here, but maybe you are outputting CRs or LFs inside of the <rss> initial tag — that’s what it looks like, and I’m not sure that tags are allowed to have linebreaks internally…

    Thanks for the reply David. I changed how I outputted it per your suggestion and everything is working fine now. Problem resolved!
