Using PHP to Submit Featured Image Caption Value

    I would like to use PHP to submit the Featured Image Caption value for a post (in lieu of the form field). This would add a layer of automation to my site as given categories share the same caption. I have figured out the “where” of adding this function but now need the “what”. Please advise. Thank you.

    Thanks for the question! I haven’t really given much thought to supporting this, but this isn’t the first time I’ve gotten a question like this. I’ll add it to my list of things to work on.
