Using Plugins With Custom Page Templates

    I have looked for a while and cannot find the answer. I have custom page templates for several of my website pages and have a global header and footer which is called in each template page. I also have the correct wp_head() and wp_footer() tags in the header and footer where they belong. The problem is, I can’t get a simple Jetpack contact form to insert into my page when it’s anything other than the Default Template.

    Is there more I need to do in order to use these different plugins on my pages? The one post I did find on the subject referenced the wp_head and wp_footer tags which solved the problem for that individual. Any help will be appreciated!

    I have found out why plugins were working with the “default template” a.k.a page.php and not my custom templates. Apparently, for this particular Jetpack plugin, I needed to have The Loop in my page. Don’t really know why, but this works.
