Using polylang outside WP loop why does pll_the_languages function point to home

Hello,

I have a setup by which i use WP and polylang outside the wp loop. But i notice the pll_the_languages() function doesn’t stay on the current page but directs to the homepage.

I like to have the link to point to http://www.mydomain.com/outside-wp/en and not http://www.mydomain.com/en

Any variable i should add to pll_the_languages() function???
