using postie to post audio

    I would like to use postie to post mp3 audio to wordpress post.
    Is there a way to get postie to send audio to a blog but using the shortcodes to enable the default MP3 player to be created instead of a .mp3 URL
    I want users to have a player presented on a page or post. is their any solution for this.

    Take a look at the audio template setting.

    Change it to something like:

    [audio {FILELINK} ]

    Thanks for this answer Wayne, just solved one of my challenges too.
    This pops up the player rather than just a link.

    Yes, I put the code shown above in the Audio settings area of postie and it works great.
