Hey

I am just wondering if we can use a mix of the built in categories and Docs AND the regular posts and categories in WP?

Perhaps calling in post content into a docs post.

I have a tutorial site: http://easywebdesigntutorials.com/
I am thinking of creating a starting out with WordPress kind of section with a sidebar and a nice orderly index page that leads to various docs/posts. Hopefully your plugin can also create a flexible index page that I can go ahead and easily customize the CSS.

Hi Paal,

Docu creates it’s own custom post type with custom category and works independent of WordPress default posts and categories.

If you like to customize things, for example adding content before or after the index page or the widget: http://wp.dinamiko.com/demos/docu/doc/actions/

Also you can create or modify templates in an upgrade safe way:
http://wp.dinamiko.com/demos/docu/doc/override-docu-templates-in-themes/

Here is an example that uses Docu, the author is extending Docu without touching any line of code of Docu: http://docs.hughlashbrooke.com/

Could you perhaps add Hugh’s docs page as a tutorial to your own site? (He made that page with various plugins though. I am wondering how far in creating a similar page can one get with your plugin…)
As it would be a good example on how to use your docu plugin.

I have taken a quick look and your plugin looks really interesting!
