Hi,

I have a few sites, someone else has worked on. He activated https and the SSL certficate but no green lock.

I have discovered some mix content issues.

Question:

Is it still possible to use your plugin (‘afterwards’), to solve these mixed content issues?

So https and SSL certificate are already installed.

Hi,

yes, you can still install Really Simple SSL after moving to SSL. What this will do is activate the mixed content fixer, the mixed content fixer will update all internal links to use https:// which solves most mixed content issues. If you still experience mixed content issues after installing Really Simple SSL, you can try to clear all caches the website uses. When the mixed content is coming from external links, you can track them down as described here: https://really-simple-ssl.com/knowledge-base/how-to-track-down-mixed-content-or-insecure-content/.
