Using Relevanssi with a Custom Template

    I’ve developed a custom template but the tutorial I followed never showed how to create a standard default search form/search page. Although I’ve installed this plugin I’m not getting any results in most likely due to not pointing in the right direction. What are the steps to getting this plugin to work with the files I have now?

    Does the default WP search work with your custom template? If so, Relevanssi should work just as well.

    Relevanssi search form should point to the index.php of your blog, and have the search term in an input field named “s”.

    Solved by using the default code for my search.php file
