Using Shortcodes

    Hello,

    I’m trying to use BNFW notifications to tell a new user to make a password. I’m adding the shortcode into the text window and all it does is visually display the shortcode in the email. When I add the shortcode to a script (<?php echo do_shortcode(“[example_shortcode]”); ?>) and switch between visual and text, the script goes away. How do I use shortcodes in this plugin?

    Thanks for your message.

    I’m not sure exactly where you’re adding the shortcodes. Can you post a link to a screenshot of where you mean?

    Please also refer to this page for details about how to add a notification, particularly the sections titled ‘Subject’ and ‘Message Body’.
