Using Slider on another page

    Hello,

    I want all pages to be based off the home page, so I created a child theme and a template based off home.php, which includes the slider. Yet using the new theme on my pages results in the same boring ¨blog¨ type template. How do I make it work?

    When editing a page in your theme on the right sidebar you should have the “Page Attributes” box. Within that box it says “templates” and has a dropdown menu from which you can choose a template. When you create a page and choose the new template you made based off of home.php are you still not getting the appearance you desire?

    No, I get a page with looks like a normal blog entry. However when Firebugging the html/css I see that the code for the slider is there…
