Using Tablepress in a Sidebar Widget

    Hi,

    Love your plugin and it works great on the general content pages of my site. I also donated 🙂

    I am having an impossibly hard time getting it to work in the sidebar of my website. I would like to have a vertical series of thumbnails with little descriptions to the right of them.

    Is there any way to make tablepress work in the right sidebar of my site under where it says, “buy this stuff”

    Hello, Trav,

    Have you tried to create a Text widget in the sidebar, then put the Shortcode of the table in it?

    The Shortcode of your table created with TablePress looks like:

    [table id=123 /]

    and you could get the shortcode in the admin page of TablePress in WordPress Dashboard.

    Yes, as Haoxian suggests, you could put a table into the sidebar by using a text widget in the sidebar.
