Using the {all_fields} merge tag

    I would like to have the ZenDesk ticket created using the {all_fields} merge tag from Gravity Forms. I have tried to manually add this field to “Description” but it does not transmit the required data.

    Advice?

    We’ve been trying to get them to fix how the plugin parses the values inside {} for “Custom Value” field types when mapping them to Zendesk for months now.

    The “merge tags” in the “Custom Value” field types are not the same as the Gravity Form’s Field Merge tags (https://docs.gravityforms.com/field-merge-tags/).

    For example, you can’t use {1:label} to get the label of field ID 1. The plugin will always return the field value. This is a pain if the field values are not human readable and cause confusion when they end up in Zendesk.

    This is true for the Premium version of the plugin as well.
    Hopefully they can release an update, but their release cycle is very slow.
