    Hey,

is it possible to use your Plugin without the apikey? I know, that i cant update the data automatically without the key, but i dont want to create an api key with the need of my credit card on google.

Ive tried to setup the plugin without it, but i just get a popup after entering the location id with the instruction for setting up the key.

    Thank you!

    best regards,

    Tobias

    Hi,

Yes, by default the plugin can connect 5 Google places without own API key, you can see video how it works here:

When 5 connection spent, it requires to create your own Google API key which is very simple to do by extremely detailed instruction placed on the page: Google Reviews / Support / Full Installation Guide.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks!

Hello, i tried it again some times, but still get this info and cant go on without an API Key:
This plugin uses our default Google Places API key which is mandatory for retrieving Google reviews through official way approved by Google (without crawling). Our API key can make 5 requests to Google API for each WordPress server and it’s exceeded at the moment.
What do you mean with “each WordPress server”? i’m hosting this on my own server and haven’t used the api yet, because its not connected yet.
    Best regards,
    Tobi

    Hi,

Could you send debug information to support[at]richplugins.com?

    Thanks!

Hello, we’re seeing the same issue recently where anytime we try the plugin we get the below error message. This has been going on for a few weeks now, but it use to work without giving us this message.

This plugin uses our default Google Places API key which is mandatory for retrieving Google reviews through official way approved by Google (without crawling). Our API key can make 5 requests to Google API for each WordPress server and it's exceeded at the moment.

To continue working with Google API and daily reviews refreshing, please create your own API key by this instruction and save it on the settings page of the plugin.

Don’t worry, it will be free because Google is currently giving free credit a month and it should be enough to use the plugin for connecting several Google places and daily refresh of reviews.
