Sorry, here is a little more info.
I’m using it for email subscription. Everything looks good on the page, but it is not sending the email when I test it.
Hey there! 👋
HappyForms should work just right with password protected pages!
You shouldn’t need any particular markup either: HappyForms just fills the available space and takes care of your form layout.
Regarding your issue with emails, could you double check that your WordPress setup is able to send emails in the first place by sending yourself a password reset email? You can do so by opening your wp-login.php page in an Incognito window, and following the “Lost your password?” link.
I hope that helps! Let us know how you go. 🙂
Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it.
So, I tried what you stated above, the forgot password was sent, and I received it. Now, I tried to send an email on my landing page and I did not receive it, nor did I get a “message sent” message. Then, I created a page in wp-admin, and inserted the shortcode there, it works flawlessly when I send a message via shortcode on a page method.
I am puzzled here on why the message would not send on a landing page.
With all this said, messaging does work on the website, but not on the landing page.
Thanks for the help.
So, I looked at the page in google developer tools and found this.
HappyForms Email Sending Problem
Well, I hope this gives you some insight on the culprit I am having.
Thanks and have a good day!

Thanks for the details!
I feel like something’s still missing though, let me explain:
1. Your form submit button is disabled by default when your Disable submit button until form is valid option is on in your form Style → General section. Would you double check this detail, just to be sure?
2. After submitting your form from your landing page, do you see a new response entry in your HappyForms → Responses screen?
3. When you say “shortcode on a page”, you seem to imply that you use a different method for embedding your form on your landing page. If that’s the case, could you share more details?
Let’s hope we can figure this out quickly! Let us know your discoveries. 🙂
