    Hello,

I’ve recently added Google Tag Manager code with a PHP function to my site and is also sending data to my Google Analytics. Thus this plugin is no longer necessary in my website.

My question is: do I need to manually configure all the events this plugin offers in my Tag Manager Workspace or are they all automatically tracked with the default GA tracking and enhanced e-commerce setting there?

You’re right. If you’ve tested and found out that the analytics events are working properly, you don’t need to do anything else.

My question is: do I need to manually configure all the events this plugin offers in my Tag Manager Workspace or are they all automatically tracked with the default GA tracking and enhanced e-commerce setting there?

That is correct. You can continue using the Google Analytics extension – it should help you in tracking all the popular eCommerce events as per Enhanced eCommerce.

    I hope that helps!

Hi @harishanker sorry for the delay in answering this thread.

Ofc you can mark it as solved since it was more a question about your plugin inner workings than a support issue. Here’s what I’ve found about my questions:

You can continue using the Google Analytics extension – it should help you in tracking all the popular eCommerce events as per Enhanced eCommerce.

This is not true. If you configure Google Tag Manager and keep using this plugin at the same time both will effectively track your visitors and actions twice messing up your website analytics.

You must configure each eCommerce event separately in “Google Tag Manager” and stop using this plugin or use only “Woocommerce Google Analytics Integration”. Maybe both can be made to work together but with much configuration and effort.
