Using span to format text

    Hi
    We love your slider, but I have a question on text formatting. We would like to color a portion of some text. We do it in our regular code by using the <span> and assigning a css class.
    I’ve got this in place in our slider text, but it appears that the <span> is being stripped out.

    Is there something we need to do in order to be able to accomplish this?
    For example, client wants orange periods – here is what is in our slider: The view source shows that the span tags are stripped out.

    `You need it<span class=”orange”>.</span> We find it<span class=”orange”>.</span>
