using two shortcodes on one page

Hi,

I use the me calendar for our sports club. On the front page we have a section for our adult teams and one for the youth teams. In each section I want to display the upcoming matches for the relevant teams. So I have set up a shortcode for each section, each of which uses a category filter.

When both shortcodes use different layouts (i.e. one day view and one list view) this works fine. However when I try to use the same layout (i.e. day view) on both shortcodes, neither displays any event.

Should it work to have two shortcodes with different category filters but the same layout or am I trying something that should not work?
