Using URL Variables

    Hello. I appreciate any help that anyone can give me.

    If I pass a variable in to a contact form via a url, can it be used in a contact form?

    For example, if I have a button that when pressed takes you to a Contact 7 form, can I pass a variable in to the form? If so, what is the syntax to use it?

    So from my starting site I use webname.com/contact_form_page/?name=”testing” to get to the contact form, what is the syntax for using the variable name?
