Using Variable Products

    Hello, I am trying to use a variable product as one of my gift wrapping options. But right now the gift wrap option does not show the options. I can not switch it to two different products because its also a product I sell from my shop not just a gift wrap option.

    Any way you can show me some code I can use to work around this so it shows the variable product options for the customer to choose in gift wrapping section?

    As you can see I want the customer to be able to choose small or large bags.

    Hi @katyjaugustine,

    That’s unique & creative thinking and I commend it, but the plugin isn’t set up to work with variable gift wrap products. That’s why it doesn’t work. Significant portions of the plugin would have to be refactored to get that to work. You’re welcome to play with it, but it’s easier to stick with simple products. 🙂

    Hiya @katyjaugustine,
    Here’s an idea….. just treat separately the bags that appear in the shop that are variable, and create “duplicate” products that are simple products that are excluded from shop and are used by the plugin?
