We have tried to replicate this issue on our end but the problem doesn’t seem to happen. In order to further investigate this issue, could you please email us a copy of the block so we can test it out on our end?
Here are the steps to get a copy of the block:
1. Click the 3-dot button on the block toolbar then select “Copy“
2. Paste the block code into a text file and send it to [email protected]

I second that – using a video background on the Hero block, upon update showing error offering to attempt recovery, then video disappeared from the front-end. When switched to adding a video in the background as opposed to container, the container inherits the video also, even when it’s not set.
