    Hello,

    I am trying to get CAOS for Analytics, Monsterinsights and complianz plugins working together.

    The problem is that complianz takes control of Monsterinsights I believe and only inserts the tracking code once cookie policy is accepted but if I enable CAOS it seems to get in the way and insert the tracking code regardless when in compatibility mode for monsterinsights. I have tried every combination of configuration I can think of.

    My only option so far is to configure CASO only for the sole purpose of syncing the .js file and then change the source url in class-tracking-analytics.php to use the local file.

    The problem with this approach is when an update happens and over rights the modified file.

    Please help.

    @djbtcs,

    I’d have to look into this. Once you enable the Monster Insights compatibility mode in CAOS for Analytics, it gives the complete control to MI. So it shouldn’t interfere with anything.

    Since this is not the case, apparently. I’d have to look into this. I’ll get back to you!

    Hi @djbtcs,

    I’ve been trying to get Complianz to run, but it’s a lot of configuration. Could you tell me which settings you’re using? It’ll help me help you 🙂

    Hiya,

    Under Step 3 in the wizard / Cookie Usage

    “Do you compile statistics of your website?” = “Yes, with Google Analytics”

    (This should already be selected as the plugin will detect that Monsterinsights is installed)

    “Regarding the previous question, can you give more information?” Do NOT tick any. If you tick them all it will not work.

    Under Step 3 in the wizard / Statistics

    Enter tracking code.

    I feel like an idiot. After looking at the code to how and what Complianz blocks stuff it was simple.

    In the Complianz Script center under:
    “URL’s from scripts you want to be blocked before the cookie warning is accepted”
    I need to add the new analytics.js path excluding www. Example.

    yourdomainname.com/wp-content/cache/caos-analytics/analytics.js

    I hope others will find this post as even though a simple fix, Complianz plugin is not clearly documented for newbies.

    Thanks again for your time and creating a great plugin!

    @djbtcs, @daanvandenbergh
    I stumbled across this post just now, and just wanted to let you know that I added CAOS Analytics to the integrations list, so as of the next release it will be integrated by default.

    We’re working to improve the documentation, but in case like this I think the best solution is to add the integration by default in Complianz, which takes all this stuff out of user’s hands.

    If you have any questions about such integrations, please drop us a note at our support forum or on our website.

    Thanks for posting your solution!
