We had an issue today with a live stream we were doing on our website using Wowza as the streaming service. When we had your plugin activated, our stream would not work. Once we placed the plugin as inactive the live stream worked again. Have you heard of or had any issues with using your plugin with Wowza?

    Thank you,
    Carol

    Hi Carol,

When there are problems with embedded widgets/services in an SSL site, the problem is in most cases that the embed code is not SSL proof: if the mixed content fixer changes all urls to https, the service is forced to load over SSL, and often this doesn’t work.

You can check if this is the case by disabling the mixed content fixer in settings/ssl, and see if it starts working again.

If this helps, the stream in your site over SSL will cause mixed content, causing browser warnings about insecure content. To fix this, you might need to use a different embed code for the stream. In most cases the stream service can provide a way to embed the service in your site without mixed content. So I would contact Wowza support if they have a solution.
