I’ve not seen any reports of privacy issues myself regarding that. Are there any specifics on that you might be concerned about?

The reply posted on the provided topic is related with W3 Total Cache plugin and not WP Super Cache Plugin.

Also the provided topic is old and both authors have made changes to their recent version of plugins core to address these issues.
