Using WP without coding layouts etc?

My website is already coded using several different types of things and I’d really rather not learn how to code WP themes and change all of my 200+ pages. A friend told me that it is possible to use JUST the blog without all the coding… but doesn’t know how to do this.

1. Is it possible?
2. How can I do this?
