UTC time completely and utterly wrong

Hello,

I’m in the process of setting up my first WordPress blog on my own domain. In my settings, the UTC time is set as 3112-07-09 22:07:21, which is obviously completely wrong (where I am it’s May 31, 2008, and my time zone is UTC-5). How do I correct this?
