It is unbelievably …..plain. I find it somewhat boring to be honest.

I suppose it’s a love it or hate it kind of thing. I’m just interested in what can be achieved with only the written word and an extremely simple blog format.
well then I agree with you that it features “only the written word” and if that is what you were trying to accomplish then that is a good thing!
minimalist? you need to get rid of the colored background, the border around the entire page, THEN you’ll have simple.

The only thing is – do you want visitors to come to your blog? you don’t have a blogroll to help with that… but if you don’t care then it works I guess.
