v3.0.2 not working

    Hi.

    The plugin is not working on my site, I have WP v4.9.1, API key and PHP v5.5, I have tried to make it work anyway and the message “Loadind stock data …” persists.

    If you can help me, I’d be grateful.

    Please check this topic and watch video https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/stock-ticker-3-how-to-install-and-do-initial-setup/

    Try to increase fetch timeout time and run initial fetch. Looks that your server require more than 4 seconds to fetch data from AlphaVantage.co, so increasing fetch timeout should resolve issue.

    Hi Aleksandar.

    It still does not work unfortunately. I followed your instructions and increased the Fetch Timeout to 20s, by clicking ‘Fetch Stock Data Now’ the following error occurs:

    Stock Ticker fetching loop has been reset. Now let we fetch data, please wait…
    Stock Ticker Fatal Error: Failed to save stock data for USDBRL=X to database!

    I am using the following symbols:
    All Stock Symbols: USDBRL=X,EURBRL=X,INDEXBVMF:IBOV,BVMF:PETR4,AAPL,GOOG,FB

    Any symbol that I use happens the same error with the used symbol. Even if you only use 1.

    I await your return.

    Hi @adrianoampb,

    Let we try this:

    1. Unfortunately, AlphaVantage.co does not support INDEXBVMF:IBOV and BVMF:PETR4, so please remove them from all symbols (next update will have routine to ignore unsupported exchanges while doing fetch to prevent API errors)
    2. Enable debugging in WordPress https://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Debugging_in_WordPress#Example_wp-config.php_for_Debugging
    3. Deactivate, then Activate again Stock Ticker plugin
    4. Go to plugin settings and run Fetch Stock Data Now!
    5. If you again get error with database, please send to my email “URKEKG at GMAIL dot COM” file stock-ticker.log from wp-content directory
    6. Check in your database do you have created table WPPREFIX_stock_ticker_data and if you have it please take screenshot of table structure. Send screenshot to my email along to stock-ticker.log file
