v3.1.15 Embed column does not work?

Hello,

Until V3.1.14 (free) the downloads page had the “short-code” column, where I can get the Short-code [wpdm_package id=’nnnnn’] to embed it in the page/post.

With V3.1.15 the coulmn has been replaced by “Embed” column, which show a square button instead the Short-code value. Clicking on it makes the whole page becomes dimmed gray and nothing else happens (I need to reload the page to come back).

In order to know what is the Short-code to use, I had to revert to V3.1.14 (I don’t know how otherwise get the Short-code string)

Am I doing something wrong or what else?

WP is updated at last version (V5.6.2) and this happens with any kind of browser

Please deactivate and reactivate the plugin, a page should appear after you click the embedded option and there you shall get the shortcode.

Thank Sohrat for the indications.

I’ve upgraded again to V3.1.15, tried to click on Embed button, nothing happens. Then I disabled the plugin, re-enabled, logged out and in. Checked that pop-ups are not blocked. Done with different browser, but unluckily the problem is still the same (grayed out page after click).

Any other idea?

Hi,
the button should show a popup and show the short-code. However, you can generate shortcode easily ( rather than copy/paste it ) using any of the following add-ons:

If you are using the classic editor:
https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/advanced-tinymce-button/

For Gutenberg users:
https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/gutenberg-blocks/

And for elementor:
https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/download-manager-addons-for-elementor/

However, we shall check and resolve it with the next update.

Also, such an issue only will happen if any other active plugin and theme style conflicting on that page, you may try deactivating other plugins to find the conflicting one.
