• I have just upgrade from V3.5 to V3.5.1 – before upgrade, I disable all Plugins, then only re-activate after successful instal ov V3.5.1.

    See image here:

this shows that when I try to edit a page, the usual tabs “Visual”” & ‘Text” are MISSING.

This occurs even if I have all plugin still de-activated.

I’m lost as top what to do, any help appreciated?

    Thanks Dennis

Thanks for the advice. I have spent 4 hours reviewing the Master List and all the advice. I tested suspect plugins and options BUT NO success.
Getting further into coding is not my scene, presume all I can do is await the next release and hope it is fixed?

Depending on the source of the problem, the next update may well not fix it – if it’s a problem (often with JS) in a theme or plugin (or conflict) changes to WP won’t necessarily fix those. Did you deactivate all your plugins , reset the plugins folder and change to a default theme — those are the standard troubleshooting steps to identify what is causing the problem.
