Just an update…I added a quiz via gravity forms and am running into a bunch of issues with how it displays.
It’s a simple form
A
B
C
yet the text doesn’t display and they are side by side.
If you could shed some guidance, it would be great. I’ve looked through all the tutorials, looked through all these posts… I can’t find anything related.
Honestly, most of this sounds like it’s related to the quiz/form plugins, and not our plugin. The only thing I know for sure would be related to BadgeOS would be the auto-approving part.
OK. Let’s simplify.
I have one question that someone needs to answer correctly to receive the badge.
How do I go about that?
This is what I think should happen.
I’ve created an achievement type ‘quiz’.
I created a ‘quiz question 1’ with completing steps of any type ‘quiz’.
I’ve put a form in the ‘quiz question 1’ that is a radio button with the correct answer set to ‘c’.
I thought the form would be the easiest way.
Since the form is not displaying correctly, is there another way to validate the answer to get the badge?
I appreciate your time.
What quiz plugin are you using for this? The only one I’m aware of that we have any sort of official support for is LearnDash. For that one, we hook into a lot of their own WP hooks to trigger our checks and potentially award achievements.
it’s gravity forms with a quiz with as simple radio button with one correct answer.
LearnDash seems like overkill and $150+ to have a simple quiz question validated.
Do you integrate with Gravity Forms at all?
Thanks for your quick reply
No, not at the present time, regarding Gravity Forms integration. Sorry.
Blank reply, so I’m guessing you probably edited and removed a previous comment?
yes. 🙂
<blush>
I was able to set it up…finally.
I may still have questions. But the ones I stated in my blank message have been found and resolved
You know where to find us 😀
Trying to do some testing, how do I reset a user’s status who’s passed a quiz?
I’m also not seeing the optional correct or incorrect text. I don’t have it disabled.
The quiz mode is set to check -> continue,
and it does display the incorrect message, but won’t allow the user to re-enter another answer.
Which option do I activate to display that text and allow them to return to answer?
None of that is provided by BadgeOS, so I’m sadly not able to help you at all with regards to those areas.
