Validating ?

I’m hoping to use Preference Lite to build a simple website…I’ve done blogs before, but am still fairly novice when it comes to setting things up with wordpress to look more like a business site than a blog. Because my blogs are mostly for me and I rarely make changes to the core code of the themes I choose, I don’t typically worry about validating things. However, since this new site will be viewed by a much wider audience, I do want to make sure that it validates. I just activated Preference Lite and have added no content or made any changes to the code, but it comes up with a lot of errors when I check for validation. Do I need to worry about that?

I’m excited to work with this theme, and possibly upgrade to the Pro version as it seems to have many features that could benefit me, but I don’t want to get too deep into it if it will cause me problems down the road.
