don’t see anything wrong in the HTML source and https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool (which is another Google test tool) shows no issues with the video microdata song-simian, so this to me looks like a false positive?

Hi, I’m still having problems. The issue is this: Google Chrome and Google Structured Data Testing Tools both see the HTML as is, with the thumbnailURL, uploadDate, etc., as is. However, Google Search Console sees an entirely different HTML and still says I’m missing 4 elements.

For example, on the following URL:

    https://www.songsimian.com/best-boat-tower-speakers-wakeboard-review/

Google Search Console shows this (and this is after I cleared cache), and it’s missing all the elements that are plainly there on Chrome and Structured Data Testing Tools:

    View post on imgur.com

Of course, if I turn off “Add microdata?” option in the settings, this eliminates the problem. But then, in the HTML on Chrome or whatever, the microdata is obviously not there anymore (wouldn’t it be a good idea for SEO if it’s there?).

Anyways, please help. I have no idea why Search Console and Strucured Data Testing Tool see two totally different things on the same URL! Thanks!

I’d love to help, but as confirmed by you the relevant code is in the HTML so this clearly is not an issue with LYTE any more, but with Search Console.

One sliver of hope maybe; in your HTML I see “something” is removing quotes from around attributes, try turning that off maybe to see if the missing quotes are … confusing Search Console? 🙂
