    Hello everyone!

First of all I gotta thank the makers of this fantastic plugin that has made my life within podcasting much easier. And the add-on to get stats was all that was missed.

Okay, now to my issue. I’ve tried to join Tunein Radio and we got rejected because our feed wasn’t validated. They use Feedvalidator.org and we didn’t pass the validation. I’ve read the forum and I know that you guys want us to use castfeedvalidator.com. And it works great, there we actually get validated. But I don’t know how to solve the issues shown by other validation systems. Podba.se also validates our feed but it says that it takes a little bit too long time to find the URL. And the W3c validator we don’t pass either. I barely dare to touch the xml-file in my server files. Hope you can help me with this issue!

    My podcast feed: http://ukulelepodden.ch7.me/feed/podcast/

    The results from feedvalidator.org: http://feedvalidator.org/check.cgi?url=http%3A%2F%2Fukulelepodden.ch7.me%2Ffeed%2Fpodcast%2F

Thank you so much. And once gain, thank you for such a great plugin!

The issues shown by feedvalidator.org are all non-issues. Unfortunately feedvalidator.org just doesn’t understand podcast RSS feeds properly and constantly reports errors that are not actually problems – I’ve had countless problems with the validation on there returning false errors all the time.

You can feel free to point Tunein Radio to this thread and I’ll answer their questions here, but if they’re going to rely on feedvalidator.org then there’s not really anything I can do to assist unfortunately.

    Hi Hugh,

First of all, thank you for adding this plugin, which works fine with many podcast apps, apart from iTunes, it seems.

    The plugin description says:

“Highly configurable and robust RSS feed designed for all podcast services and feed readers – including iTunes, Google Play and Stitcher”

Knowing that some podcast providers reject feeds from your plugin due to failed validation in feedvalidator.org would be nice to know beforehand.

That said, I still like your plugin 🙂
