I added the web stories plugin version 1.2.1 on December 17, 2020.
I have tried multiple web story versions, some made with Canva, some made in the web story editor, some with only images, some with videos and all are coming up with the same error message: Not a valid AMP Page, validation issues, “JavaScript not allowed. Two instances.”

    Can you help?

    Hi there,

Both JavaScript snippets are for New Relic’s browser monitoring feature. To fix this, New Relic recommends disabling the feature for AMP pages (like Web Stories are). Depending on how you are adding this script (e.g. by using a custom WordPress plugin), you can disable the snippet for AMP pages alone, or just for the whole website. If this New Relic feature does not ring a bell to you, you might want to reach out to your website administrator or hosting provider for assistance.

    Hope that helps!

    Dear Pascal,
Thank you so much for your reply. You are right, I don’t have a clue what New Relic is, so I am reaching out to my support folks and sharing your information.
Thank you again for taking the time to respond, I’ll keep you posted!
    All the best,
    Sharon

I contacted Cloudways, which is my host, and they said that New Relic was already disabled on my site. Any other ideas or places to check?
    All the best,
    Sharon

If it’s not added by your hosting provider, it could be added by one of your plugins or even your theme. You could try briefly disabling all plugins to see if the New Relic code is still inserted on your page. Briefly changing the active theme also is worth a shot.

The code is also added on your website’s homepage for instance, so it’s not isolated to stories.
