Validations in the admin area

    When logged in as the administrator I can enter any data even if it is clearly against the validations or leave the field blank when the validation is set to required.

    Can you please point me how to turn on the validations for all users?

    Yes, that is correct, administrators are not constrained by validation settings in the backend when editing or creating a new record. This is to give administrators a way to save any data they need to. If a user has an editor role, they can only submit valid data.

    Thanks that is helpful. I have also been reading the documentation on your web site which is also very helpful. I think i am starting to get it.
