Hi Andrea
Thanks for reaching out.
In early August 2016 we discontinued new sales of Vantage Premium. In August of 2018, we discontinued email support and updates for Vantage Premium.
Almost all of the additional settings previously found in Vantage Premium are now part of the free Vantage theme hosted on the ww.wp.xz.cn theme directory. This version is being regularly updated. Footer Attribution and Ajax Comments, two features previously part of Vantage Premium are now addons in SiteOrigin Premium.
If you’d like to migrate a site from Vantage Premium to Vantage, you can do so by temporarily switching to any other theme, deleting Vantage Premium, and then installing Vantage from Appearance > Themes > Add New, use the search bar top right to search for Vantage. If you aren’t using SiteOrigin Premium the footer attribution and Ajax comments will be the only two features missing.
If you have any follow-up questions, please, let us know.

Hi Andrew
Thanks for the well detailed explanation.
I’m subscribed to siteorigin business premium since its launch. I love all its features and additions, yet on certain websites I simply like to keep Vantage theme alone to minimize the number of plugins installed.
Considering having both premium items, is there a middle ground solution? Feel free to email me privately if you prefer to switch on customer support matter.
Thanks for your support, it’s most appreciated.
If you have a moment, please, email [email protected]. We’ll assist further from there. I’m sure we can put together a solution.
@misplon
Hi Andrew
I’ve got in contact with the team support and we managed to find a viable solution (still under developing but so far satisfying).
Thanks for the assistance. I’ll mark the thread solved.
Super, I’m glad to hear you’re making progress. Thanks for updating this topic.
Cheers for now π
@misplon
For the sake of information, I’ve just found out that there is one more feature missing from Vantage Premium to Free. And that is the Custom CSS snippets that were found at the top of custom CSS panel. As well, the relative window for CSS revision to revert back changes. Those were super handy, contributing on making Vantage standout from the crowd of themes in my opinion.
I’ll update the topic if I happen to spot others.
Hi Andrea
Unfortunately, yes, this feature was removed, it slipped my mind to mention it earlier. I’ve uploaded the snippets folder here. It isn’t as convenient to use I know but they’re all there if there are a few you’re looking for.
Thanks
Hi Andrew
Thanks for the link! That’s great!
I leave a note for those who will read this thread, in case they need to migrate from the old Vantage pro to free like I did. Custom CSS won’t be imported, you got to back it up and add it back on Vantage manually.
Thanks for your understanding and the note π
