    Hi there,

    We are encountering a serious issue with the humming bird plugin. As we activated it on our webstore we noticed after some days that our customers have been unable to place orders with product variations.

    The issue is as follows:
    As a client tries to order a product a dropdown option couldnt be selected. The dropdown options stay expanded and no selection is made, thus ordering the product was impossible. As a result we immediately had to disable the hummingbird plugin.

    Could there be any cause for this? We enables CSS compression, gzip, caching was on.

    Hi @cvansas,

    Sounds like it was Asset Optimization that was causing the anomalies ie under Hummingbird > Asset Optimization > Assets.

    Could we know whether you tried the “Automatic” or “Manual” mode? Since we don’t have access to the page URL where the issue is, its tough to say what might have caused it.

    However, you could try switching to “Manual” mode and see whether it helps in optimizing the page further and resolve the issue.

    If the above doesn’t help much, you can also deactivate only the Asset Optimization setting under Hummingbird > Asset Optimization > Settings > Deactivate.
