    Hi @hk2310507

From what I understand, you’re having trouble finding the variable product option after installing the WooCommerce plugin version 7.9.0.

The variable product option is not immediately visible when you first navigate to add a product. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you find it:

    1. Navigate to your WordPress dashboard, and then click on ‘Products‘ and ‘Add Product‘.
    2. On the product data panel, you will see a dropdown menu. If ‘Simple product‘ is selected, click on the dropdown menu.
    3. From the dropdown menu, select ‘Variable product‘. This will change the product data settings to suit a variable product.

If you’re not seeing the ‘Variable product’ option, it may be due to a conflict with your theme or another plugin. You can check this by deactivating all other plugins temporarily and switching to a default WordPress theme like Storefront. If the problem resolves, you can reactivate your plugins and theme one by one to find the source of the conflict. Here’s a helpful guide on how to test for conflicts: 👉 How to Test for Plugin and Theme Conflicts

In case none of the above steps work, could you send us a copy of your site’s System Status? This will give us a clearer picture of your site’s setup and help us pinpoint the problem. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.

Additionally, could you also provide us with the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

Once you’ve got that, you can paste them right here in your reply, or use https://pastebin.com/ to paste it there and share it with us.

I appreciate your patience and cooperation in this. I’m eagerly awaiting your response so we can get this sorted out for you.
