    Good day support team,

After using the product import with the ‘_stock_at_[location_id]’ metafield with “manage stock’ enabled, I noticed that all my variable products were ‘out of stock’. We took a deeper look at the product admin page of one of the variables, and the ‘Stock locations’ tab had a ‘total stock’ of zero, even though the stock is registered for each variation.

This can be fixed by simply clicking the ‘update’ button, and the stock will recalculate, but we have an extensive list of products, so this isn’t an option.

Can you confirm whether this is a bug or expected behavior, and if it can be fixed? I’m quite sure there’s a sync function needed after the import to sync up the ‘Total Stock’ of your plugin with the total WooCommerce parent stock of the variable product.

*Please note that immediately after import, all stock was 0. After I attempted at a fix, I could only get the WooCommerce stock to reflect the sum of quantities for each variation, not the total stock on the plugin side, which you’ll see in the link*

    Thank you,

I’m looking forward to hearing back from you.

Apologies for the delayed response and thank you for your patience. I wanted to check if you’re still using the plugin and facing any issues with variable product stock after import. If so, I’d be happy to assist you in resolving them.

If you’re no longer using the plugin but are interested in giving it another try, please let me know.

Additionally, there’s a toggle button under the “Stock Locations” tab that may help in your case. It says:

“If you want the system to update all the product stock for the locations enabled. This feature is introduced as a beta version for now. It can possibly replace the cron jobs scheduling if it goes successful.”

Enabling this will automatically keep your stock synced with the values you import, helping you avoid manual updates or relying on cron jobs.

For further assistance, you can always use the “Contact Developer” option under the Help tab on the plugin’s settings page.

Looking forward to your reply and happy to help you get everything running smoothly.
