Thank you for reporting this issue. I have tried to replicate the problem on my end and was able to sync products without any issues using the latest version.
To assist you further, could you please provide some additional information:
- Is this error occurring for all variable products or only specific ones?
- Does this error appear for newly created variable products as well?
- Have you made any recent changes to your site after which this issue started occurring with the latest version of the Square plugin?
In the meantime, to better understand your setup and investigate the issue, please share the following:
- Your System Status Report (found under WooCommerce > Status)
- Any fatal error logs under WooCommerce > Status > Logs
If there are logs, please upload them to a service like Pastebin or GitHub Gist and share the link here.
Once we have this information, we’ll be able to assist you further.

Thank you for your help.
It seems that the problem was caused by the Stock Manager for WooCommerce plugin. I disabled it and was able to sync without any problems.
