Hi, I have a question about variations.
How can i add the same image for a variation?
    For example:
I have an article “T-shirt” that is available in size: S;M;L and in color: Blue;Green

I add variations to my product but then i have to add manually 3 times the image with blue t-shirt and 3 times the image with green t-shirt.

Can’t i add an image for a single attribute (color for example) to multiple variations?

In this case is only 6 but i have products with 70/80 variations…

    Thank you very much.
    Best regards,

  • If you choose “Any” for the attribute when setting up a variation, you can have only one variation instead of one each for S, M, L. Then you would have only one inage to upload. The disadvantage is that your 3 sizes can’t have individual SKUs or different prices. I don’t know if this would be an issue in your circumstances.

Alternatively you could look at add-on type plugins. There are several free and premium ones available. In your example, you would have two variations, one for green and one for blue. The size would be an add-on expressed as a drop-down or radio button set. So you would have 2 variations instead of 6.

    Hi there!

    > If i choose “Any” it create all the combinations but, how can i specific image for every single color?

You would want to create a variation for each of the colors and then on “size” you would select “any” as I have done in this screenshot.

AS @lorro previously explained, the disadvantage is that your sizes won’t have individual SKUs or different prices.

    Cheers!
