The attributes need to be unqiue.
e.g. variation 1 would be: size large, medium 1.
variation 2 would be size small, medium 2
etc. Then each variation can be given a price.
Ok,
I have medium as different papers
fine art permajet, fine art coton, photo mat, photo glossy,
the sizes are 20 x30, 30 x45 etc
I think my attributes text is too long and stopping the selection to come up. Is there a size limit-meaning number of characters- in the attributes to respect?
I have added “Fine Art paper Hahnemühle Photorag Baryta white gloss 308g glossy ink” as attribute. Is it too long for an attribute?
Since I added it the drop down menu is not working and the slot is too big.
I hope I am making sense???

coquelicots dans le mistral http://www.trois-echos.com/fr/product/coquelicots-dans-le-mistral-2-2
copying the link there are now 2 2s in the link. My product only has one 2
yikes, thank you for your help,
K
Seems to work? I don’t think there is a set limit, some some servers do have security limits in place.
Keep the attributes short and instead add descriptions to each variation.
thank you,
I have shortened the attributes and the menu came back to a ‘normal’ size.
The box at the bottom of the product page relists the attributes. Can it list something different, for ex the details of the paper quality?
thank you,
K
On the attributes tab you can choose to hide them.
Thank you Mike for your help…I am sure that I am not at the end of my discovery with this great plug in.

Mike I am back at it again after a series of hacks, intrusions and you name it!!
I am rebuilding this site and am stuck again with variations and attributes
The attributes are Sizes and Mediums (meaning different types of supports for photos)
where do I do the global attributes : on the attributes page or on the products page
