Variations not working

    Hi, I am currently using WooCommerce 2.1.12 and since I’ve done an update, variations of products are not carrying over to the cart. Only the primary price of products will show up.

    For example:

    Colombian Supremo 1 lb = $14.95 and a 5 lb = $36.95, plus our decaf versions of coffee 1 lb Decaf = $15.95 and 5 lb Decaf = $43.95 and you have different types of grinds- whole bean, french press, espresso grind and drip grind.

    So, if I select 5 lb Decaf, it shows up in the cart like this:

    Colombian Supremo Price Total
    5 lb Decaf = $43.95 $14.95 $14.95

    Then the customer adds their shipping to continue.

    I am using The7 WordPress Theme Vers. 4.2.2 and haven’t had any issues until I did the update for WooCommerce. What do I need to do to get this fixed, because I am losing customers since I had to place an under maintenance plugin to tell people we are adding new products and prices. I am still adding additional product and I’m hoping that during the update for products, the pricing will get squared away.

    Any ideas? And do I have to contact WooCommerce themselves?

    Consider updating your theme to the latest version, v4.3.0.1. Your theme supports WooCommerce, so the vendor will be changing theme files as necessary to keep them in sync with WC.

    If this does not resolve the issue, please post the url to your site.

    Ok. Did an update to The7 v.4.3.0.1 and I am still having the issue. I’m really thinking that is it WooCommerce that is causing the problem, because it did work until the last update, which is 2.1.12. Any idea when the next update will be?

    I really don’t want to launch it until I know that the variations are working again. So, for now, the site will have to be under maintenance.

    Won’t I loose all of my information by reverting to a prior version?

    Always best to take a backup before changes but you should not lose your information by reverting to a prior version because the data is stored in your MySql database which is not affected by reverting the code.

    However, this should be considered as a short term fix. The best way forward is to ask the theme author to ensure the theme is compatible with the latest WooCommerce.
