I have a site with about 2k products, and a large number of variations.

The site is a gallery; the categories are the artists; the products are their respective art. The variations are the size and media of the prints.

I should like to be able to run a report to see which products are using each variation.

The objective is to remove/rationalise the variations and also to ensure that the values (height, weight, width and weight) associated with each variation are consistent.

The only reports I can see are with regards to sales.

    Any help gratefully appreciated.

    Paul

    Hi @somersetcanary

I should like to be able to run a report to see which products are using each variation.

Currently, WooCommerce doesn’t have a built-in feature allowing you to generate a report showing which products use each variation. However, a plugin might be available to help you with this. I recommend you do a bit of research to find a suitable one.

Alternatively, you could use a plugin like Import Export Suite for WooCommerce. This plugin allows you to export your products and their variations to an Excel file, which you can then use to analyze your data.

The objective is to remove/rationalise the variations and also to ensure that the values (height, weight, width and weight) associated with each variation are consistent.

To ensure that the values (height, weight, width, and weight) associated with each variation are consistent, you might consider using a plugin like Product Bulk Editor for WooCommerce, Bulk Edit Products, Prices, and Attributes, or Bulk Table Editor. These plugins allow you to bulk edit your products and variations, which could be very helpful when ensuring consistency across your products.

I hope this information is helpful. If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
