    Hi…

So this is looking really good, but I have a couple questions.

    — Is there a config someplace that I’m missing to change the name of “SHOW THE CONTENT / HIDE THE CONTENT”?

    — In the Giveaway “Display”, how do I get rid of the Logo, if I changed my mind and don’t want one?

    — In the giveaway config (General, Scheduling, etc.) there doesn’t have a save button on each tab, so it doesn’t save until you click UPDATE which is a pain. Also, you don’t know it didn’t save your stuff until after. (not a question, but a comment)

    Hi @tpinkus,

    1. There is no way to change the text of show/hide the content. I’ll add that for the next update,
    2. If there is no logo set, the logo won’t be displayed,
    3. You don’t have to click update for each tab, you can change each tab and when you’re done, you can then click update.

I don’t think you understood my #2 question. I’ve added a LOGO, by mistake, now I can’t seem to get rid of it. Is there a trick to getting rid of it? Or can you add a CLEAR button?

As for #3, I’ll have to test it some more, but I did not find this to work as you describe.

    Thx 🙂

    Hi @tpinkus,

sorry about the #2, there was an error with the script that was handling that. Pushed a quick fix with 2.20.2. Once updated, you should be able to remove the logo.

I’ve tested once more the question #3 on my site and it works fine.

I’ve updated, but please share HOW to remove the logo.

    Thx

    Hi @tpinkus,

on the logo image, there is a blue square (with a checked sign). If you click on it, it will remove the logo (the same way the media uploader works). After removed, you need to save the giveaway so that such changes get saved.

Here is a screenshot of the blue square (top right corner of the image thumbnail).

I’ve tried this, but each time I switch it from a CHECK to a MINUS, once I click UPDATE, it goes back to a CHECK and the image is still there.

Here are the errors I’m getting:

admin.js:203 Uncaught ReferenceError: $id is not defined
    at HTMLButtonElement.<anonymous> (admin.js:203)

    @ibenic,

    Just discovered something.

I have a LOGO, an IMAGE, and a FACEBOOK IMAGE. I had tried to get rid of both the LOGO & IMAGE separately, it didn’t work. However, when I tried the FACEBOOK IMAGE, it worked, then I was able to get rid of both the LOGO & IMAGE.

    Interesting.

    Hi @tpinkus,

that’s the error which happened in 2.20.1.

I’ve just checked it and tested it on different sites. Also with all social media images and such. I could remove the logo.

What could be the reason is that browser cached your JavaScript file that has the script to remove the image. It might be refreshed after a few page reloads. The error points to the line 203 which does not have that part (on line 203) anymore in 2.20.2.

I’ll test it a bit further to check I’ve got all covered.
