Various Website Issues with Better WP Security

I have been running the Better WP Security plugin for a while on my site. I really like it overall. However, recently I have experienced different problems that have forced me to deactivate it.

Here are the most recent issues. They are resolved when deactivating Better WP Security:

– in Chrome Browser, some posts display “Error” and nothing else when trying to load the page. The same posts work fine in other browsers.

– I have an SSL cert on my page and was forcing SSL for Admin backend. However, Google was picking up some of my pages as https. I found that when accessing pages via https, the page formatting was gone and I only had a text outline. It was like the wordpress template was completely missing.

– On another site that I was just trying to setup, as soon as I would change the admin user to something else, I would get kicked out of the Dashboard and even when logging back in as the correct user, I could not get back to dashboard to do anything. It would just take me to the home page. I had to completely redo the wordpress install.
