Hi @tallsam, thanks for getting in touch with us.
WCMp does let you set a fixed commission for each product. This document might assist you further with the configuration: https://wc-marketplace.com/knowledgebase/how-to-setup-wcmp-commission/#nav-3
I see that you can set up a fixed amount that the admin receives each time an item is ordered. But I’m wondering if it is possible to set it so that the vendor gets the fixed amount each time the item is ordered.
For instance, there is a shoe selling for $100. It’s set so the vendor gets $60. So when the shoe is customized in some way for +$20, the vendor still gets just $60 while admin gets the remainder of the $120.
Similarly, it could be set so that the vendor gets just $60 dollars regardless of the price they set.
It’s a fixed vendor commission I am asking for. Does that make sense?
Thanks,
Sam
Yes, you can also set the vendor’s fixed commission for each product. Just goto WCMp >> Settings >> Payment and set commission mode as “Vendor”.
Very nice, thanks.
Another hopefully quick questions: I’m trying to add a vendor, but after clicking the Add New button, no vendor is added. Any idea what might be going on?
Thanks,
Sam
Sam, please check whether you are using your already existing email id, to add a new vendor for. Then no vendor will be added, as a user is already there with that email id.
Can you please check with a unique email id?
That was the issue, thanks for your support!
@tallsam, great to know that.
