The page you trying to reach does not exist, or has been moved. Please use the menus or the search box to find what you are looking for.

  • Howdy!

The Error 404 Page Not Found means you probably have just installed WordPress & WooCommerce but have not configured your Permalinks. This is an important step, because WooCommerce and WC Vendors wont work without proper Permalinks setup. πŸ™‚

http://www.wcvendors.com/knowledgebase/setting-permalinks/ <— Follow the instructions there! This should fix the problem, if not, just let me know and we can diagnose it further.

For the PayPal setup, it’s time to get your Vendor Dashboard templates modified. You can change anything about your dashboard by modifying templates that we include with WC Vendors.

Currently, WC Vendors is version 1.5.0, so you would follow these instructions:

    http://www.wcvendors.com/knowledgebase/changing-vendor-templates/

….the file you would want to copy and modify is the /dashboard/settings/paypal-email-form.php file. That contains the form data for the PayPal email address. Simply make the entire file “empty” in order to remove all of the PayPaland save it into your new template folder created in article linked above this paragraph.

When version 1.6.0 of WC Vendors comes out, the template directories are changing, and you will want to follow this upgrade guide in advance.

    http://www.wcvendors.com/knowledgebase/v1-5-0-to-v1-6-0-upgrade-guide/

You might have noticed a repeating pattern here, and that is most everything you need is already on wcvendors.com. πŸ™‚ There’s a full help forum, knowledgebase articles, tutorials, setup instructions, and everything.

Hey again, so i want a situation whereby when a customer apply to be a vendor on my site, upon redirect to the vendors dashboard, he should be able to set up the shop and product pending approval?

If you are approving Vendor Applications by enabling that option:

1.) Vendor applies to be a vendor
2.) Admin receives email telling them a vendor has applied
3.) Admin then approves vendor by clicking wp-admin->Users->Pending Vendor and then hovering over the account and clicking “Approve”
4.) Vendor then can go to the Vendor Dashboard, setup the store, and add products.

I think i didn’t ask the question correctly. What i want to do is when a user signs up as a vendor, before that user is approved as a vendor he/she should have permission to setup shop instead of waiting for approval before setting up?

This is not possible, unfortunately. Sorry. πŸ™

Hi.I am new to wp and i was trying to set up a vendor in my site & after set up when i click on preview changes it show the vendor name along with heading BLOG in bold letters ,,,i dont want that HEADING as blog to be displayed in my vendor page…how do i do that…Thank u in advance

    Hi,

Your theme would be responsible for the heading…. You would want to contact your theme author and ask why they are showing that particular wording. It’s not us that is doing it.

    Cheers
